Looking south to the 1800 foot high shale and sandstone monolith that
is Factory Butte. This tower and surrounding base create one of the most impressive
sites in
the west and deserves a little respect. Factory Butte is located
approximately 15 miles west of Hanksville, UT on Scenic Highway 24.
